IB Middle Years Program

CONGRATULATIONS

to the MYP team which recently received an outstanding evaluation by the visiting IBO assessment team. The school program was the focus for the periodic assessment which is a compulsory element in remaining with the International Baccalaureate family of world schools.

The IBMYP is a programme of international education designed to help students develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world.
The overall philosophy of the programme is expressed through three fundamental concepts that support and strengthen all areas of the curriculum. These concepts are based on:
- intercultural awareness
- holistic learning
- communication.
Mission: The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
